When i try to escape
I'm taken leads straight to the bottom
Diving into the depths
The call is heard,
while that wound on the ground absorbs everything
It leads to a descent into absolute silence
It consumes every beat of my heart
I have forgotten how far I fell
Where my body was transported
I am out of breath,
surrounded by the vastness of the desert
I smell its scent and my mind goes numb,
floating as our totality collapses

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names.

One more outstanding band with Phil Tougas on a guitar. Modern and more brutal take on old school intricate prog tech-death (Cynic/Atheist) style. Very good album, with diverse moods, unexpected tempo changes, fantastic fretless bass work, lyrical interludes and other typical style's traits. Highly recommended
